Social Affairs Officer of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP). My job is to reach out to each country to practice the SDGs and promote an inclusive society and disaster prevention. In order to create a society in which no one, including people with disabilities, will be left behind in the new normal of living with the coronavirus, we are working hard every day to work with the civil society to work with the government. So far, I have been involved in the drafting of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, and have reflected the perspectives of socially vulnerable people such as persons with disabilities in the SDGs and the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction.

Graduated from the Faculty of Economics, University of Tokyo. MA from Tufts University Fletcher School. As General Manager of the International Project Planning Department of the Sasakawa Peace Foundation, she oversees the Foundation's women's empowerment business and is involved in the establishment of the Asian Women's Impact Investment Fund. Previously, at the Dalberg Tokyo office, he provided consulting services related to public-private partnerships and inclusive business for companies, government agencies, and non-profit organizations.
Worked for the World Bank Group from 1998 to 2009. After being in charge of infrastructure development, capital market development, and project finance at the Washington headquarters, he was involved in political risk analysis and guarantee provision work as the Tokyo representative of the World Bank Group Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA).

After graduating from Tokyo Gakugei University Graduate School of Education, worked as a teacher for 7 years. Through education, he felt the importance of connections between people. Completed the Conflict Resolution/Organizational Reform Facilitation Master Course at the Graduate School of Process Work Institute in the United States, and established the Community Facilitation Institute after returning to Japan. Currently, he has been involved in a wide range of organizations and sites such as companies, governments, NPOs/NGOs, etc. as an organizational change facilitator in order to increase individual initiative and group collaboration through efforts to deal with difficult situations in various places. Joined IBM Japan after graduating from university. After working as a project leader and manager for customer system development at IBM Japan, in 2006 he was transferred to the Social Contribution Department at his request. Developed a career education program for cultivating next-generation leaders with an NPO specializing in education that is familiar with the field of education. In cooperation with local boards of education, we conducted career education classes (200 classes) for approximately 10,000 elementary and junior high school students over two years with approximately 1,500 employee volunteers. Received the 1st Career Education Award (Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry) Excellence Award. Since 2011, he has been engaged in urban development using smarter cities and ICT. In 2016, he was dispatched to Yokohama City under the Cabinet Office Public Service Innovation Program to support open innovation from the ICT side. In July 2002, he established Tsukuba Wellness Research Co., Ltd., Japan's first university-launched venture in the field of health promotion. Born in Sapporo, Hokkaido in 1975. Design engineer/social engineer. His areas of expertise are digital fabrication, 3D design/production/manufacturing systems, the science and culture of creativity and its support. The motto is "research from both technology and society".
After studying architectural CAD at Kyoto University's Faculty of Human Sciences and Graduate School of Human Environment Studies, and participating in the construction site of an architectural office, he studied a wide-area 3D scanning system using images in the doctoral course at the University of Tokyo's Graduate School of Engineering. Research and Development. Ultimately, he obtained a doctorate (engineering) in the field of civil infrastructure engineering. In 2005, he became a full-time lecturer at the Faculty of Environment and Information Studies (SFC) at Keio University, and has been an associate professor since 2008. Professor since 2016.
